Sutton United 2 - 0 Longbridge Ladies
Longbridge Ladies' winning streak came to an end on Saturday against Sutton United. With Longbridge only having 10 players as defender Lucee Firth was unavailable, they give Sutton a tough match. Longbridge were under pressure early in the first half as Sutton were able to play the long balls over the top of the defence. Sutton then went ahead in the game from a questionable free-kick. Soon after they doubled their lead after an attempted cross flew over the keepers head. The second half of the match belonged to Longbridge. They played their best football this season both going forward and defending. Unfortunately they couldn't put away the chances they had. After a good second half performance, Longbridge will be looking to take that momentum into their next league match on Saturday 1st October against Woodlands at Rubery Community Leisure Centre.
