Longbridge Ladies FC 3 vs 1 Solihull Borough FC
Longbridge Ladies were able to keep up their good run of form with a second win on the bounce against Solihull Borough. Longbridge had to defend against Solihull's pacey forward but managed to score with a Jodie Cassidy goal and took the lead into the half time break. In the second half Solihull fought hard and got a goal back to level the score. Longbridge's own pacey Forward Emma Tidman got brought down in the box which won a penalty for her team. They regained their lead as the penalty was scored by striker Mary. Longbridge would soon after take the game beyond Solihull's reach. Great persistence by defender Lucee Firth in the box set up Emma Tidman. A great team performance by Longbridge who travel to Stratford Town next Saturday.
